Tracing Our Roots
OUR STORY
Kengas roots can be traced back to the late 70s’ . Our Director, then a truck driver to his sole truck experienced firsthand challenges in logistics. The demand for logistics was growing, but the competence was not growing at that time.
Amid the communication challenges, a tapered supply chain system, multiple cross border bottlenecks and poor customer service, an idea was born.
The idea for a seamless, borderless, efficient, cost effective, transparent and customer centric gave birth to Kengas Group, a group of companies offering logistics solutions across east and central Africa. It has been 38 years since the idea was conceived, and the rest of course is history.
